Summary:

Arizona has some of the most comprehensive construction prompt pay laws in the United States. The laws greatly enhance the payment rights of contractors and subcontractors to receive prompt and timely payment on Arizona construction projects. But the failure of contractors and subcontractors to comply with those laws can also have serious consequences, including exposure to interest penalties and possible Registrar of Contractors discipline.
