Lily started as a Planner at Gammage & Burnham with the Land Use & Zoning Group in July of 2024. Lily found her passion for urban planning and sustainable development while studying architecture at Arizona State University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning and minor in Sustainability in 2020, and completed her Master’s in Urban and Environmental Planning in 2021. During her time at Arizona State University, she interned with the City of Tempe Planning Division in the Community Development Department.
Lily had the opportunity to grow with the City beyond her internship, serving as a Planning Technician, Planner I, and Planner II in the three years that she worked there. During her time with the City, she assisted citizens and customers with zoning inquiries, guided applicants through the entitlement process, processed planning applications including use permits, variances, and rezoning cases, performed design review for existing and proposed developments, and regularly attended neighborhood meetings and planning commission meetings.
